Pick Up Time & Place:

We will meet at 10:00 AM at the Hotel Captain Cook. 939 West 5th Ave Anchorage AK 99501. It is a quick 12-minute ride from the airport. (If you cannot make this time you will need to arrange for your own transportation to Cooper Landing/ Seward AK)


Seward, we will get to spend the afternoon with actual Iditarod dogs. We will get to see a dog demonstration and training exercise, have a sled dog ride, learn about the race, meet the dogs, and maybe if we are lucky get cuddles with the next generation racing puppies.

Day 2 – TDay 1 – We will meet at 10:00 AM and make the 2.5 hour beautiful drive down to Seward. Once we arrive in oday we will spend our time sea kayaking in Resurrection Bay. Departing from Lowell Point Recreation Area, we paddle south along the coastline toward the mouth of the Bay. Keep an eye out for fun loving otters, salmon-hunting eagles, and the occasional whale or elusive mountain goats.  Along the way, enjoy the scenic view of Godwin Glacier on the eastern side of the bay. We land on the North Beach of Caines Head State Park, former site of the Fort McGilvray Boat Dock. Stretch out as we hike up to Fort McGilvray, where a postcard perfect view overlooks Cape Resurrection. Take a load off and enjoy the view as you eat lunch, snacks, and re-hydrate! The journey continues as we head back to Lowell Point.


Day 3 – Our 8.5 Hour Northwestern Fjord Cruise travels farther into Kenai Fjords National Park than any other cruise. Ideal for photographers, birders, and whale-watching enthusiasts, this adventure cruise explores the remote, untouched area of Northwestern Fjord in Kenai Fjords National Park. This cruise travels with a smaller group for a more intimate cruising experience, providing the best opportunity for up-close views of wildlife including humpback whales, orca whales, Steller sea lions, harbor seals, seabirds, otters, and more. The 8.5 hours spent on the water will fly by as the captain seeks out the best wildlife viewing in the area. You will spend time in front of the impressive Northwestern Glacier, an actively-calving tidewater glacier. A complimentary light breakfast and hearty deli lunch is included.


Day 4 – Hiking up Exit Glacier. We will spend the day on one of the most rewarding hikes in Kenai National Park. This 8.2-mile hike will take us up and around Exit Glacier to the Harding Icefield. The trail can be steep at times but we plan on making this an all-day hike with picnic a lunch at the top. Be on the lookout for bears, moose, sheep and goats! This will not be a hike you forget!


Day 5 – Half Day guided fishing trip on the world-famous Kenai River. The waters of the Kenai Peninsula offer a variety of sport fishing options. Whether you're into spey casting and swinging flies, dead drifting egg patterns, casting/stripping flies or you are brand new to the sport or prefer spinning gear or float fishing, no matter your skill level, you'll finish the day feeling like you've been fishing your whole life! No gear required everything will be provided for you. You can fly fish or use a spinning rod. Gear and instructions are included!

After our exciting fishing trip, we will drive back into Anchorage check into our hotel, clean up then go out for a great final dinner with the group and share all of our great memories with our new friends.


Day 6 – Check out of Hotel and drive to Anchorage Airport. You will be dropped at the airport by 10:00AM (Please make sure your return flight is not prior to noon).
