Itinerary

Day 1 – Fly into Miami Florida. We will take a 15-person van from the airport to just outside of Key west where we will spend the night. This is a very famous drive and worth the trip in itself.

Day 2 – We will have an early start to meet the ferry that will take us to Fort Jefferson. After the two- and half-hour boat trip we will arrive at Fort Jefferson where we will spend the next 3 nights. Once we have set up our campsite, we will take a couple hours to explore our area. Hiking around the fort and getting in an exciting snorkel in the beautiful waters of the Dry Tortugas.

Day 3 – We will get to spend the whole day beach combing, snorkeling and exploring all the natural wonders this area has to provide. During the evening we will observe the beautiful starry nights. With no light pollution we will get to see a sky few have seen!

Day 4 – This morning we will start our day with a Park Ranger and learn all about Fort Jefferson and the Dry Tortugas. The afternoon we can spend again exploring our favorite activities from days past or just relax on the beach and watch the sun go down.

Day 5 – After spending our last morning in the Dry Tortugas we will clean up our campsite and again meet our Ferry at 3:00 PM to make it back to Key West.

Day 6 - Check out of our lodging and drive to Miami Airport. From here we will make our journey home to share all of our experiences with friends and family
